Practitioner - Diane Chen

I grew up in China and always had a deep appreciation of the impact of an individual's historical and current environment.  In my practice, I look for each person's unique pattern as produced by their constitution and interactions with the environment, which almost always manifest in the physical body's meridian systems.  By using modern technology as well as careful palpation, I could quickly zone in on where the imbalances are and treat for immediate results.  I also use gentle Japanese style techniques. Through my following the Meridian Therapy teacher Stephen Brown, I have found that gentle techniques are especially beneficial for the modern generation with imprints from a busy and sometimes chaotic environment.

My goal is to treat patients with minimal treatments necessary and help them go on with their lives.  I put special emphasis on empowering the person to better adapt to the current environment so the body will be less likely to fall out of balance again.  I also dedicate part of my treatment session to supplement organ level deficiencies (constitutional weakness) as I believe that is the main factor influencing one's physical and mental resilience.  I see changes for the better coming in three layers: body, mind and spirit.  When people could readily experience harmony within their personal environment, it is certain to me that they will go on to live healthy and joyful lives.

I use many tools in my practice to meet the person's need at the moment.  I am skilled in TCM acupuncture, Meridian Therapy, Moxa Therapy, Auricular Therapy, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and advice regarding lifestyle, diet, sleep, and exercise.

I welcome all of your questions and offer free 20 minute consultations to give you the opportunity to meet me and learn more.  If you are interested in a free consultation please contact me through email.
